Staying positive during "The Covid-19 Pandemic"



How are you feeling today?


Anxious? 

Stressed Out?

Lonely?


Don't worry. You are not alone.


I know everyone is talking about covid, immunization, vaccine, vitamin C.


We know our life is worse than the BIRDBOX movie when the trending topics are Oxygen, Rendeziver, Secondwave.


Amidst this existential crisis, we are sleeping, cooking, working, and hoping everything will turn out well one day. Without any denial, we learned how to live with it.


In 1844, the Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard wrote: Whoever has learned to be anxious in the right way, has learned the ultimate.


Covid is a way of enlightening us that grief could be shared, at this level of pandemic and struggle we all go through. Let's Focus on what we can control.


  • The most commonly reported experience during this pandemic is difficulty eating healthily and exercise. Let's exercise not for the calories or the slim waist but to get our daily dose of endomorphin.

  • Listen to podcasts and music for 10 minutes a day. Music improves the mood, reduces anxiety and eases pain, and provides comfort.

  • Avoid overdoing caffeine and alcohol. 

  • Meditate, Meditation helps to minimize the effect of stress on your body.

  • Limit your screen time.

  • Keep in touch with your loved ones.

  • Stop overthinking and take time to unwind.

  • Reach out if you feel overwhelmed and ultimately

  • Get plenty of sleep. 

Following these will helps us prepare to respond more adaptively and healthily. In the end, let us eat, sleep, and stay calm, and count today as a very good day indeed.
